I had the privilege of designing this wedding at the Annenberg Beach House, a gorgeous venue right on the Santa Monica beach, directly off the PCH. The bride and groom chose succulents as their escort cards/party favors for guests and incorporated personal touches to the wedding that were truly heartfelt. The wedding cake topper was a family heirloom, used by both the bride’s parents and her grandparents and was passed down for this very day.
The couple were also avid runners and the way the groom proposed was adorable. After they went on a run together, the groom went online to www.mapmyrun.com (a website that tracks the route and distance from your run) and the carefully crafted route that he had planned spelled out “will you marry me”. It was a unique and personal touch to a beautiful proposal.
The day before the wedding we had experienced a lot of rain, (which is unusual in Los Angeles) but luckily the skies cleared up and the day of the wedding was perfect.
