The Parker Palm Springs is an iconic venue with a Mid-Century vibe. You feel welcomed the minute you pull into their driveway. The valet staff is impeccable and there’s a warm vibe that invites you to stay and relax for a while.
Upon entering, the reception desk is to the right. As you continue walking into the hotel, you’ll notice a cozy Moroccan themed lounge area with a fire pit and ottomans that you’d love to have in your own backyard.
The venue was given a $27 Million makeover in 2003 by Jonathan Adler, whose pervasive style can be seen throughout the venue. Their outdoor restaurant, Norma’s, has beautiful tableware and Adler’s spirit and design can be seen throughout the different areas of the hotel.
The rooms and suites are stunning. The style is very chic, vibrant, colorful and fun. In a desert setting, the color palette has an even more dramatic effect of feeling like you are in a paradise oasis.
There are hedges and rows of maze-like walkways. There are beautiful doors leading into various event spaces. No detail was spared in the renovation of this gorgeous space. Nestled in some of the hedges are hammocks that are open to guests who happen to be walking by. There are also circles of chairs that remind you of teepees and camps with their canvas style and structure.
Be sure to visit the lemonade stand while you’re there and indulge in a game of croquet. They also have a life-size chess board so you can see the game from a different angle.
Stop by the Palm Springs Yacht Club and ease all the day’s tensions out of your body as you completely relax and float away in their nautical themed spa.
