The Waldorf Astoria is a world renowned hotel with a location in the heart of Beverly Hills. View the video above to see our tour of the spaces, from the glistening lobby to the legendary Jean-Georges restaurants. There are multiple restaurants, one located on the ground level and another on the rooftop, called the Rooftop by JG. One of my favorite spots is the semi-private dining room downstairs that can accommodate 20 guests, perfect for showers, and small intimate gatherings with close friends and family. The outdoor portion of the downstairs restaurant is also a great space for activations, launches and PR parties. I came here when I was invited by Los Angeles Confidential when they named me a Woman of Influence. I also came to the bar after an event held in the ballroom with the Columbia University School of Business.
Upstairs is the Astor Ballroom often used by corporate clients for holiday parties and for celebrations such as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays and other celebrations. A unique aspect of this space is the bar that’s recessed behind 2 gilded, mirrored doors. The doors slide to reveal an immaculate bar for hosting guests. Some events host their guests at the nearby Beverly Hilton hotel for a portion of the celebrations as well as at the Waldorf for a multi-venued party. Adjacent to the Astor Ballroom at the Waldorf is the Waldorf Room which is a smaller space also used for events or meetings.
On the rooftop is the pool and jacuzzi, promenade walkway and restaurant. You can actually see butterflies and hummingbirds fluttering on the promenade, elevated 12 stories aloft.
The hotel has 170 rooms and you’ll see a tour of the rooms in the video above. The Beverly Hills Suite is a spacious, clean, and immaculate space with gorgeous views. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to the nearby Westfield Century City shopping mall.
The Waldorf Astoria Hotel motto is “The Difficult immediately, the impossible takes a few moments longer” and is based on a sign that hung in their main kitchen in New York for more than 40 years. Come and experience the hospitality of the inimitable Waldorf.
